45 minute metro ride to beach at Ostia, which becomes Rome's playground in the summer months. Other beaches near Fregene.

Travel
30 minutes by train and tram from Fiumicino Airport.
1.5 hours from Ciampino Airport.
It is very difficult to bring a car into the narrow Medieval streets of Trastevere and to park near the apartment. The whole area is pedestrianised Friday and Saturday evenings, and every morning.
Distances
Colloseum, 20 minutes walk. Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona 10 minutes.

So many restaurants and bars in local area, that it would be hard to make a recommendation.
